Our Cruise Concierge are an expert team of staff, each able to guide you to the best itineraries to suit your needs as well as curating bespoke packages just for you.

One of the ways our Cruise Concierge become experts is by experiencing life on-board our luxury cruise lines for themselves. Whether it’s a staff trip for a day or a few nights on-board, it’s these visits that allow our teams to understand the standards of cruising available and what customers can expect on-board.

Just one example of these trips is the Oceania Cruises sailing aboard Insignia, which Emma Taylor – a Cruise Concierge – spent cruising to the ports across North America and Canada.

Our holiday started with three nights in New York and, although we have been a few times before, there is always something new to see and do!

Statue of Liberty - New York

This time, we spent most of our time exploring Central Park and Hell’s Kitchen where the food tours are really interesting and worth a try!

When we boarded the ship in New York, we immediately felt at ease. The staff are so welcoming and a few even recognised us from our trip the year before!

Oceania Cruises - Insignia - Cruise ship

Our balcony stateroom was in a great location and so we never felt far away from any of the ship’s facilities, although we spent a lot of our time on the open deck’s as the ship has such a warm atmosphere and so much space.

As usual, the food was exceptional in every single restaurant and the menu offered such a wide range of choices.

Raspberry dessert - Oceania Cruises

Toscana is still our favourite and the gorgonzola topped fillet is to die for!

Visiting ports such as Rhode Island, Boston, Bar Harbor, Halifax and more, we knew we needed to make the most of the time there and so opted do to some of Oceania’s excursions, which were excellent.

Bar Harbour - Nova Scotia - Canada

We did three in total over the ten days and on each one, the guide was superb!

Jetty in North America

The itinerary really covered all that we’d expected and more, especially Nova Scotia. We did a trip to Peggy’s Point Lighthouse and this was phenomenal!

Overall, the itinerary delivered way more than we expected but each destination was brought to life by the ship and the crew and this made for such an enjoyable trip, in fact, we enjoyed it that much that we booked on board for our next adventure; French Polynesia! Another one off the bucket list!
