Cairo

Aswan
An intriguing town along the Nile, Aswan marks ancient Egypt’s southern frontier. Flowing gently around Lake Nasser, between boulders and idyllic islands, explore the colourful Nubian villages or and old Aswan Dam where you can swim in the river and recover from your travels and temple-viewing.
Luxor
Often nicknamed the world’s greatest open-air museum, Luxor is a grant testament to the ancient times of Egypt. As the Nile flows through, upon its banks and beyond sit enigmatic Thebes’ temples including Karnak and Luxor in the east, and tombs or museums in the west.
