The classes are part of the cruise line’s expansive enrichment series, which looks to develop skills and interests with in-depth lectures, engaging activities and classes. Selected voyages also offer guest lecturers who share their personal experiences and insights gathered over the years.

Guests on-board Seven Seas Explorer, and now the all-new Seven Seas Splendor when she launches, will have the chance to attend classes on-board to expand their culinary knowledge and skills. With full equipped cooking stations featuring top-of-the-line induction cooktops, stainless steel sinks and hands-on tuition, the classes add another incredible element to your luxury Regent Seven Seas cruise.

Regent Seven Seas Gourmet Explorer Tours
Not only can you experience these culinary classes on-board the ship, selected sailings also offer Gourmet Explorer Tours. These feature unique opportunities to experience the culture and flavours of the ports visited across the world’s most delicious destinations. These tours include wandering through food markets in Nice; dining on tapas and pintxos in Spain; enjoying an elegant lunch under a glass rooftop with views of Provence or learning to cook delicious cannoli while sipping Sicilian wine in Italy.

Meet Seven Seas Splendor’s experienced chefs
There’s a team of eight chefs behind Seven Seas Splendor’s Culinary Arts Kitchen. Chef Kathryn Kelly heads up the team as the cruise line’s Director of Culinary Enrichment and the mind behind the unparalleled success of the Culinary Arts Kitchen. Her passion for international cuisine has been the inspiration for developing over 50 unique culinary classes across the two ships.

Speaking about the launch of the classes on-board Seven Seas Splendor, Chef Kelly said:

Seven Seas Explorer sets sail in 2020 for the Caribbean, before visiting the Mediterranean, Europe, the Middle East and Australasia later in the year. Seven Seas Splendor begins her inaugural season in February with a Mediterranean sailing before heading across the Atlantic to visit North American, Caribbean and South American ports.
