2021 has been a year of progress for the cruising industry so far. Due to the global pandemic travel paused, resulting in a number of cruise line launches being delayed. However, cruising is back and 2021 is introducing a number of new ships to add onto some of our cruise line fleets! There’s a lot to look forward to on the horizon. See which ships are coming soon for 2021, 2022, 2023 and onwards.

Celebrity Apex - Celebrity Cruises

Celebrity Apex

Maiden voyage: 19th June 2021

Sister-ship to the coveted Celebrity Edge, Celebrity Apex was scheduled to be welcomed with open arms on her planned launch in the UK in April 2020, however, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this has been delayed. Apex is now scheduled to launch from Athens, 19th June, offering a week-long, round-trip Greek Island and Cyprus voyage, calling at Athens, Santorini, Mykonos, Limassol and Rhodes.

With more than 90% of the staterooms boasting ocean views and brand-new accommodation options, alongside 29 distinctive dining spaces, revolutionary entertainment and the world’s first moving cantilevered platform at sea, it’s definitely a ship that’s got to be experienced.

Silver Origin - Silversea

Silver Origin

Maiden voyage: 5th June 2021

Another purpose-built ship for the Galapagos Islands, Silver Origin will be the most luxurious ship to grace the region’s waters. As Silversea’s first destination-specific expedition ship, it will offer immersive experiences of the Galapagos alongside expert lectures, luxury amenities and the highest Zodiac-boat-to-guest ratio in the area.

Crystal Endeavor

Maiden voyage: 17th July 2021

Setting sail for icy waters, Crystal Endeavor is the cruise line’s first expedition yacht. She will be the world’s largest and most luxurious expedition yacht when she launches in July 2021. With 100 suites, thoughtfully-designed staterooms and Michelin-inspired cuisine, the ship will provide an unforgettable experience for all involved.

Silver Moon

Maiden voyage: June 18th 2021

Sister-ship to Silver Muse and the tenth addition to the Silversea fleet, Silver Moon will boast key features, elegant design and innovative facilities when she sets sail. The ship is also built to minimise air and water pollution meaning that it’s been awarded the Green Star 3 Design – the latest and most comprehensive edition of the RINA’s Green STAR additional class notations.

Seabourn Venture

Maiden voyage: 11th December 2021

The first ultra-luxury, purpose-built expedition ship for Seabourn, Seabourn Venture is expanding the cruise line’s offering for adventure. She will be designed for diverse environments, with PC6 Polar Class standards, and boast 132 luxurious oceanfront veranda suites to enjoy the passing views of the stunning destinations she visits.

Silver Dawn

Maiden voyage: 9th November 2021

As Silversea’s eleventh cruise ship to join the fleet, Silver Dawn is set to strengthen to musification of the fleet, offering many of the same standards and amenities as her sister-ship, Silver Muse. With spacious all-suite accommodations, enhanced on-board experiences and a range of spectacular destinations on offer, Silver Dawn will be a great addition to the luxury cruise fleet.Silver Explorer - Silversea Expedition

Celebrity Beyond

Maiden voyage: 22nd November 2022

As the third Edge-Class ship, we know many of the on-board facilities to expect with Celebrity Beyond will follow the sister-ships. This includes stand-out spaces such as the Magic Carpet; Eden; luxury accommodations such as Aquaclass Sky Suites and the Rooftop Garden.

Celebrity Cruises’ 4th  Edge Class Ship (Unnamed)

Maiden voyage: 2022

Though unnamed, we know many of the on-board facilities to expect with this ship as she is a sister-ship to the renowned Celebrity Edge and Celebrity Apex.

Magic Carpet - Celebrity Edge

Crystal Cruises’ 1st Diamond Class Ship (Unnamed)

Maiden voyage: 2022

Expanding the ocean fleet, Crystal Cruises’ Diamond Class will accommodation 800 guests and feature luxury designs and amenities. The first ship will set sail in 2022 and is currently under construction at the MV WERFTEN shipyard in Stralsund, Germany.

Crystal Cruises’ 2nd Diamond Class Ship (Unnamed)

Maiden voyage: 2022

Shortly after the first ship of the class, the second one follows. This ship will be a sister-ship, offering the same level of luxury and service as can be expected with Crystal Cruises.

Seabourn Venture sister-ship (Unnamed)

Maiden voyage: May 2022

Following the sister-ship launch in 2021, this Seabourn ship will offer the same expedition facilities and design as Seabourn Venture when she sets sail in 2022.

Silversea 1st Evolution Class Ship (Unnamed)

Maiden voyage: 2022

The first ship in Silversea’s Evolution Class, this ship will be an ‘evolution’ of the Muse-class ships. The ships will be innovative and offer the same understated luxury as seen on-board Silver Muse, Silver Dawn, Silver Spirit and Silver Moon.

Silversea 2nd Evolution Class Ship (Unnamed)

Maiden voyage: 2023

The second ship in Silversea’s Evolution Class, this vessel will offer the same innovative and luxurious amenities as seen before. Though she’s yet to be named, one thing for certain is that she will offer the very definition of ultra-luxury cruising!

Regent Explorer

Regent Seven Seas Cruises 3rd Explorer Class Ship (Unnamed)

Maiden voyage: Late 2023

Sister-ship to the world’s most luxurious cruise ship – Seven Seas Explorer – this Regent Seven Seas cruise ship will be the third Explorer Class ship. She will accommodate up to 750 guests and include spacious venues to relax and enjoy time on-board.
