Bequia, Grenadines
The tiny island of Bequia, situated within the Grenadines, has an area of only 7 square miles, but what it lacks in size, it makes up for in natural beauty. Sightseeing in Bequia
One of the islands most popular activities is scuba diving at the stunning dive sites located along the coastline. An underwater wonderland awaits divers of all skill levels around the coast of Bequia, with exciting opportunities to explore coral reefs, coves, caverns and ship wrecks as well as a professional diving school with expert instructors. Other exhilarating water sports include kayaking, snorkelling, wind-surfing and fishing as well as sailing on chartered yachts. Beaches
Bequia has a range of incredibly beautiful beaches situated along the island’s coastline, with soft white sand and cool, clear ocean waters. The most secluded beaches on the island include the serene Princess Margaret Beach, named when Princess Margaret herself swam there, Lower Bay, which lies next to a tranquil fishing village, Friendship Bay next to the picturesque village of La Pompe and the exclusive and private Moonhole Beach. Due to the island’s small population, these beaches never get very busy and are often particularly quiet and isolated.

Once used as a sugar plantation, the Hills of Spring are now a perfect getaway spot for tourists looking for a place to explore with a peaceful atmosphere and tremendous natural surroundings.
Mount Pleasant

As tourists may expect, the island does not have a large supermarket or extravagant department store, but instead has a great range of small shops, stalls and markets selling a variety of items, from general groceries and amenities to clothes, gifts and souvenirs.
