Located on a peninsular in the Brazilian state of Rio de Janeiro, the charming resort town of Buzios is a popular destination for tourists hoping to discover a side of Brazil away from the major metropolitan areas. The Taua Reserve is another area of conservation in the Buzios region of Brazil. This nature reserve is home to over 300 different species of butterfly and 60 types of native and exotic birds.

The Rua das Padres, which translates to Stone Street, area of Buzios is the best place for visitors to shop for gifts and souvenirs. This region of the town is home to a range of brilliant art galleries with many paintings and sculptures available for sale. Buzios is a superb place to eat out as the town contains a variety of high quality restaurant serving food from across the world. The best places in town to find great restaurants are at Rua das Padres or along the Bardot Beachfront, where the restaurants serve Italian, Moroccan, French and Thai cuisine as well as the fish and seafood dishes, which are a local favourite.
