Positioned on the southern tip of the Baja Californian peninsula, within the Mexican state of Baja California Sur, is the city of Cabo San Lucas, often referred to as Cabo. Church of San Lucas
The Church of San Lucas is a great place for visitors to observe and discover some of Cabo’s heritage and culture. This well maintained church is almost 300 years old but still retains many of its original features. The stunning architecture makes for fantastic viewing and is one of Cabo’s most popular man-made historical landmarks.
The Cultural Centre
Cabo’s Cultural Centre is a great place to uncover more information about the history and culture of this intriguing city. The centre contains a large mirador tower overlooking the beautiful surrounding gardens and also offers amazing views of the city.
Shopping in Cabos San Lucas
The city contains an array of stores and shopping malls, the most extravagant of which is Puerto Paraiso Shopping and Entertainment Plaza. Across the street from Puerto Paraiso is Marina Cabo San Lucas, both of which offer a wide range of shops and vendors. For more high-end purchases, consider a trip to Shoppes At Palmilla for a selection of boutiques, spas, galleries and souvenir shops. Traditional Mexican speciality stores selling authentic local furniture, ceramics and artwork amongst other souvenirs can be found at San Jose del Cabo.

Cabo has a variety of restaurants, cafes and bars serving everything from traditional Mexican dishes to simple fast food options. Authentic Mexican restaurants in the area include El Patio, El Coral and La Casa Country or alternatively, visitors can try Alexander’s Restaurant French Cuisine or Brasil Brazilian Steak House for something different.
