The Killer Whale Museum is one of New South Wales’ oldest museums, opened in 1931, and houses a range of fascinating exhibits including whaling artefacts and the skeleton of one of Eden’s most famous killer whales, named Old Tom. The whalers of Eden and the orcas in the surrounding oceans had a special and surprising relationship, and the story is this relationship is told throughout the museum.
