30 December 2020 Day at sea.
31 December 2020 Clarence Town, Long Island (Bahamas).
A small and tranquil village which sprawls along the banks of the Williams River, Clarence Town is everything you expect from the Bahamas. With breathtaking cliffs, brilliant coral reefs and serene beaches aplenty.
01 January 2021 Day at sea.
02 January 2021 Jost Van Dyke (B.V.I)
The glowing turquoise waters are perfectly matched to the white sandy beaches where the waves ebb and flow to the rhythm of the swaying palm trees. This picturesque Caribbean island is the ideal respite where you can escape daily life and dream of staying forever.
03 January 2021 Philipsburg (St Maarten)
St. Maarten is the smallest piece of land shared by two sovereign states. Legend has it that the Dutch and French boundaries of the island were determined by two men who challenged one another in a race around the island, with the Frenchman walking faster and claiming more land. Legend or not, both the Dutch and French settled here in the 1630s and despite occupancy by the British twice, the Dutch and French have lived peacefully together ever since they arrived.
04 January 2021 Les Saintes, Guadeloupe.
This small group of islands lies opposite the western part of Guadeloupe. They were discovered in November 1493 by Columbus, who named them Los Santos. French settlers established themselves in 1648 and changed the name to Iles des Saintes, commonly known as Les Saintes.
05 January 2021 St Georges, Grenada.
Nutmeg, cinnamon, cloves, cocoa: those heady aromas fill the air in Grenada. Only 21-miles-long, the Isle of Spice is a tropical gem of lush rainforests, white-sand beaches, secluded coves, exotic flowers, and plenty locally-grown spices to fill anyone's kitchen cabinet.
06 January 2021 Little Bay, Monserrat.
Thanks to its volcanic history, this island is nicknamed the Pompeii of the Caribbean - however since the island has bloomed into a place where you can enjoy off-the-beaten-path beaches and hidden creeks.
07 January 2021 Gustavia, St Barts.
One of the Caribbean’s true gems, St. Barts is where Riviera chic meets Caribbean cool. Day-trippers come from nearby islands for the duty-free shopping, excellent dining and to lounge on the soft, white sands in a secluded palm-fringed cove. Tour Fort Gustav and Fort Carl, historic reminders of Sweden’s short-lived Caribbean possession. Excursions abound, inviting guests to snorkel, sail over the clear blue waters on a catamaran, or horseback ride through shaded jungle trails.
08 January 2021 San Juan, Puerto Rico.
IIf you associate Puerto Rico's capital with the colonial streets of Old San Juan, then you know only part of the picture. San Juan is a major metropolis, radiating out from the bay on the Atlantic Ocean that was discovered by Juan Ponce de León. Centuries of Spanish rule left an indelible imprint on the city, particularly in the walled area now known as Old San Juan. The area is filled with cobblestone streets and brightly painted, colonial-era structures, and its fortifications have been designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
09 January 2021 St John, (U.S.VI)
The smallest and most idyllic island of the three US Virgin Islands, St Johns is best known for its postcard-perfect beaches, crystal-clear waters and marine life just waiting to be explored.
10 January 2021 St John's. Antigua and Barbuda.
Touting 365 beaches, most protected by coral reefs; a ring of forts; and quaint Colonial architecture, Antigua, and particularly St. John’s, is a classic example of the British Caribbean. Sites to see include St. John’s Cathedral, destroyed by earthquakes and rebuilt on the same spot at least three times, the last time in 1845; and the Museum of Antigua & Barbuda, which, in addition to island history, also offers a fascinating exhibition of semiprecious stones.
11 January 2021 Castries, St Lucia
With a lush interior featuring towering mountains, dense rain forest, fertile valleys, and acres of banana plantations, St. Lucia is mostly distinguished by the Pitons—twin peaks that soar high above the ocean floor on the southwest coast. Whether you stay in Soufrière, in the north in or around Rodney Bay Village, or even farther north at Cap Estate, exploring the iconic natural sights—and local history—in Soufrière is a day well spent.
12 January 2021 Fort-De-France, Martinique.
The largest of the Windward Islands, Fort-de-France is indescribably French as supported by the island's cuisine - a blend of French and creole. Decorated in lush landscapes with tropical flowers, trees which bend with the fruits of mangoes, papayas and citrus, as well as acres of banana plantations.
13 January 2021 Charlestown (Nevis), St Kitts and Nevis.
The island is covered with ruins of the sugar plantation era, which declined in the late 1800s after slavery was abolished and the sugar beet created competition for sugar cane. Nevis is a paradise for nature lovers. There is excellent snorkelling just off-shore and scuba diving around wrecks and natural reefs. There are rainforests and ruins - fascinating for people who enjoy the natural side of the tropics.
14 January 2021 Jost Van Dyke (B.V.I)
The glowing turquoise waters are perfectly matched to the white sandy beaches where the waves ebb and flow to the rhythm of the swaying palm trees. This picturesque Caribbean island is the ideal respite where you can escape daily life and dream of staying forever.
15 January 2021 Day at sea.
16 January 2021 Grand Turk, Turks & Caicos Islands.
Just a seven-mile-long island, this capital and seat of the Turks and Caicos government, has been a long-time favourite destination for divers eager to explore the 7,000-foot-deep pristine coral walls that drop down only 300 yards out to sea. On shore, the tiny, quiet island is home to white-sand beaches, the National Museum, and a small population of wild horses and donkeys, which leisurely meander past the white-walled courtyards, pretty churches, and bougainvillea-covered colonial inns on their daily commute into town.
17 January 2021 Fort Lauderdale, USA.
Disembark and make your own way back to Miami airport for an overnight flight back to the UK.
