In Kamloops, travel aboard the iconic rail transport of Rocky Mountaineer, experiencing the GoldLeaf Service with luxury hotel stays and exceptional service on-board the train. Travel to Kamloops and Vancouver, where you will then disembark and stay for three nights before stepping aboard the Azamara Quest for an eight-night cruise.

05 June 2019 Calgary to Lake Louise with panoramic helicopter tour
Depart Calgary this morning for a full-day coach tour concluding in Lake Louise. Journey to Kananaskis where you will enjoy the highlight of today, a 12-minute panoramic helicopter tour over the remarkable landscape of the Rockies!

Continue on to Banff for a sightseeing tour including Bow Falls, Lake Minnewanka, Surprise Corner and the Hoodoos. Your tour ends on arrival in world-famous Lake Louise late this afternoon, where you will stay overnight.
06 June 2019 Sightseeing tour of Yoho Park, Lake Louise to Banff
Continue this morning via coach to explore beautiful Lake Louise on your own. After lunch, a half-day tour takes you into Yoho National Park to view some of its natural wonders. Among the attractions are the Spiral Tunnels, Emerald Lake and a natural rock bridge that spans the Kicking Horse River. At the end of the tour you will be transferred to Banff, where you will stay overnight.
07 June 2019 Ice-fields Parkway tour including Ice Explorer, Banff to Jasper
Enjoy exploring more of Banff and Jasper with trips to Lake Louise and the Icefields Parkway. Among the highlights are Bow Lake, the Columbia Icefield, Glacier Skywalk and Athabasca Falls.

The Columbia Icefield is one of the largest accumulations of ice south of the Arctic Circle and one of the most accessible in all of North America. Here, you will ride on an Ice Explorer to the middle of the Athabasca Glacier to learn more about its geological features, before staying overnight in Jasper.
08 June 2019 Sightseeing tour Jasper highlights
Jasper National Park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the Canadian Rockies’ largest national park. Today you will enjoy a scenic half-day tour of some of the park’s natural attractions and rugged peaks, and perhaps catch a glimpse of the wildlife that calls this region home.

The remainder of the day is free for you to explore more of Jasper independently before staying overnight in Jasper.
09 June 2019 Rocky Mountaineer from Jasper to Kamloops
Travel on-board the Rocky Mountaineer from Jasper in the Canadian Rockies to Kamloops, in the heart of the British Columbia Interior. As you journey west and south you will be surrounded by the dramatic scenery of the Continental Divide and by the river valleys of the Monashee and Cariboo Mountains.

Today’s highlights include Mount Robson, Pyramid Falls, the climb over Yellowhead Pass, and the journey along the North Thompson River as you approach Kamloops, where you will stay overnight.
10 June 2019 Rocky Mountaineer from Kamloops to Vancouver
Your journey continues west towards the Pacific Ocean and the coastal city of Vancouver. On today’s journey you will again see dramatic changes in scenery, from the desert-like environment of the Interior, through winding river canyons and pristine forests, to the Coast and Cascade Mountains and the lush green fields of the Fraser Valley.

Highlights include the steep slopes and rock sheds along the Thompson River and the rushing waters of Hell’s Gate in the Fraser Canyon. Your rail journey ends on arrival in Vancouver this evening, where you will be transferred to your hotel.

Hiking, biking, and kayaking are just a few ways you can explore the rugged mountain vistas and seascapes of this glacial paradise. Haines is also a birder’s paradise, with nearly 400 bald eagles and 260 different species. Be sure to visit Fort William H. Seward Base, the first permanent post in Alaska, and local watering holes like the Port Chilkoot Distillery and Haines Brewing Company.

A walk around the city’s downtown brings you closer to its history with views of the Blockhouse, Russian Bishop’s House, St Michael’s Russian Orthodox Cathedral, and the storied Castle Hill. Visit the Fortress of the Bear and the Alaska Raptor Centre to get an up-close look at orphaned brown bear cubs, injured bald eagles, and other birds, and learn about both centres’ commitment to serving Alaska’s wildlife.

Icy Strait Point is built on the site of a salmon cannery. The restored outbuildings now house a variety of restaurants, a museum, and local arts and crafts shops. The port is a cultural hub for the original inhabitants of the area—the Huna people. Enjoy an array of activities indigenous to the area including native dance performances, brown bear viewings, whale watching, fishing, birding, and hiking.

Named after National Geographic’s first society president, Gardiner Hubbard, this frosty-blue glacier is a sight unlike anything you’ve ever seen.
