The culinary genius behind a trio of Michelin-starred restaurants – The French Laundry, Per Se, and Bouchon – Chef Keller brings his award-winning French and American cuisine to the ultra-luxury cruise line adding new flavors and flair to complement Seabourn's already celebrated cuisine.Inspired by the classic American chophouse, The Grill focuses on updated versions of iconic dishes. Guests setting foot inside the elegant dining room will be treated to table-side preparations of Caesar salad and ice cream sundaes as well as a range of other steakhouse favorites like Lobster Thermidor and creamed spinach, presented a la carte. The timeless menu will draw on the freshest products from artisan purveyors. A cocktail program and wine list of domestic and old world labels complement the menu.

Lunches in this casual poolside venue feature an array of salads, pastas, soups and freshly made pizzas, plus hot dogs, specialty hamburgers, chicken and seafood on the grill. Each day, a different themed menu is offered as well. When it's just too nice to go indoors for dinner, settle in for a full menu of salads, soups, sides and grilled steaks, chops, seafood or poultry. It’s Seabourn quality food and service in a delightfully impromptu, al fresco setting.

Sushi will debut on Seabourn Ovation when it joins the Seabourn fleet in spring 2018. Seabourn researched the best ingredients and developed a menu that is a perfect blend of authenticity to maintain the root of the cuisine, and a twist of Seabourn’s culinary expertise. The sushi concept is a modern line that is steeped in tradition using the finest ingredients.Hamachi, tuna, shrimp and other fresh fish products will be shipped from Japan to Sushi and served a la carte for dinner. The menu features caviar and small plates, along with a selection of maki rolls, sushi and sashimi, and salads. In addition, the restaurant will feature three varieties of Bento boxes for lunch: meat, seafood and vegetarian. Guests at Sushi will also find selections of special Sake, fine matcha teas, and desserts to round out their meal."This will be a great place to enjoy amazing sushi with a small group of friends, and we’re eager for our guests to enjoy it," said Richard Meadows, president of Seabourn. The liveliest lounge onboard is the scene of daily afternoon tea service. It is a popular spot for pre-dinner drinks and dancing to live music. After dinner, the dancing music continues, and later a DJ spins dance music until late at night. Another terrace of open deck aft of The Club boasts a plunge pool and two small whirlpool spas.

The Club

The ship's main showroom can accommodate all guests, though it seldom does because of the variety available. Lectures, cooking demonstrations, movies and other gatherings are held here in the daytime. In the evenings, live music for dancing before dinner gives way to vocal production shows, cabaret performances, comedy, and classical recitals, as well as more dancing later.

9 wheelchair accessible suites are available onboard Seabourn Ovation. Guests who use wheelchairs must furnish their own standard size wheelchairs. Ships' wheelchairs are available for emergency only.Guests are required to notify Seabourn at the time of booking if they wish to bring a recognised assistance dog onboard the ship. Assistance dogs are subject to national regulations<ul><li>To help maximise the cruise experience for our guests who are blind or have low vision, Seabourn has made the following items available: </li><li>Downloadable daily activities, news, and menus for guests with laptops with screen reader programs. </li><li>With 45 days notice, large print or Braille menus describing the inspired cuisine offered across a myriad of venues, from the elegant Dining Room to the casual dining options. </li><li>A familiarisation tour of the vessel upon arrival. </li></ul>

Disabled Facilities

Guests with special dietary needs are asked to notify Seabourn at the time of booking or at the latest, six weeks before sailing. We also encourage you to take advantage of My Seabourn, where you may personalise your Seabourn cruise experience, select your dining preferences, and manage your reservations and Seabourn Club information. Every effort will be made to comply with special dietary requests.For guests with food intolerances or allergies that are not life-threatening, please contact our Reservations Department. For guests with life-threatening food allergies, we ask that guests provide detailed information to our Access &amp; Compliance Department by completing a Special Requirements Information form (SRI). Guests should indicate on this form which foods may potentially cause a severe reaction.

Special Dietary Requirements

Guests must be aged 21 years or over to drink alcohol and aged 18 years or over to gamble onboard the ship and Seabourn reserves the right to request proof of age; parents and guardians are obligated to ensure compliance.Children aged 6 months or less at the commencement of the Package will be refused permission to board the ship and Seabourn shall have no liability whatsoever for any consequences of such refusal.

Age Restrictions

During the day: casual, resort-style attire, including shorts and jeans, is welcome in all lounges and dining venues. Swimsuits, brief shorts, cover-ups and exercise attire should be reserved for poolside, on deck or in the spa and sports facilities.For Evenings - After 6:00 p.m., attire for all venues onboard will be one of the following: <ul><li>Resort Casual: Slacks and a sweater or shirt for men; sundress, skirt or slacks with a sweater or blouse for women. Jeans are not considered appropriate in The Restaurant. </li><li>Elegantly Casual: Slacks with a jacket over a sweater or shirt for men. Dress, skirt or pants with a sweater or blouse for women. Jeans are not considered appropriate in The Restaurant. </li><li>Formal Optional: While Elegantly Casual is always appropriate during the evening, a Formal Optional evening will be provided for guests who wish to dress more formally at least once each seven days. Formal Optional attire includes a tuxedo or dark suit with tie for men, cocktail dress or other formal apparel for women. On Formal Optional evenings, we request no jeans in any of the lounges or dining venues. </li></ul>Attire Ashore - Packing clothing that can be layered is the best way to plan for cruising in virtually any climate. For tropical cruises, bring light, loose-fitting garments that can be paired with a lightweight jacket or sweater. For cooler climates, pack extra layers of warmer garments such as a light top coat and some sweaters. When dressing to go ashore, it is helpful to be aware of the customs of the countries you are visiting. In some ports men and women should not wear shorts. Many cultures prefer that women wear dresses or skirts when visiting shrines, churches, mosques and temples.

Dress Code

The smoking of electronic cigarettes is permitted in guest suites. Smoking of water-pipes, glass-pipes or other smoking devices is not permitted onboard.
