Seabourn's latest addition to the fleet is an ultra-luxury, purpose-built expedition ship named Seabourn Pursuit. Seabourn Pursuit is the second Seabourn expedition ship and was officially launched in August 2023. Both Seabourn Pursuit and her sister ship Seabourn Venture were designed and built for diverse environments to PC6 Polar Class standards and include modern hardware and technology that will extend the ships’ global deployment and capabilities. Like her sister ship the Seabourn Pursuit carries two custom-built submarines, 24 Zodiacs, kayaks, and a 26-person expert expedition team whose role is to engage guests throughout each voyage.
This state-of-the-art vessel boasts of a yacht like atmosphere because of her intricate designs and intimate setting. A cruise on board the Seabourn Pursuit or Seabourn Venture is different from what you would expect on a traditional cruise as this experience is more immersive with an handcrafted itinerary as it explores more remote destinations and is specifically tailored to the more explorative and thrill-seeking cruiser. Equipped with a 24-person world class expedition team that will guide you throughout the duration of your cruise, you can expect inclusive and culturally immersive activities like snorkelling, hiking, scuba diving, nature walks, guided zodiac cruises, cultural tours, shore excursions and so much more. For the more audacious guest, there are a lot more optional guided expeditions including a specially designed custom built six-person submarine for deeper ocean exploration, kayaks, special destinations and other unique expeditions.
