Azamara adds a third ship to its fleet

Azamara is known for quality, not quantity. A fleet of just two ships cruises to Alaska, North America, Asia, Australasia, the Mediterranean, Europe and the Caribbean, but that is all about to change…

Azamara has announced that it will add a third ship to its fleet in March 2018. Named Azamara Pursuit, the sister ship to Azamara Journey and Quest will allow the luxury cruise line to visit more regions than ever before; returning to many guest-favourite ports that haven’t appeared on itineraries for quite some time.

What we know so far

Azamara Pursuit will be around the same size as her sisters, allowing her to visit unique ports and far-flung destinations that larger ships simply can’t reach. You will witness unforgettable sights and take part in enriching experiences – part of Azamara’s commitment to ‘destination immersion’ around the world. Staying longer in port, you will get to know the destinations on your itinerary like never before.

And the experience doesn’t stop once you step back on-board Azamara Pursuit. Decorated to match the recently renovated Azamara Quest and Azamara Journey, this new ship will offer a boutique-hotel-at-sea atmosphere equipped with indulgent luxuries and innovative features.

“We are pleased to expand our portfolio by 50 per cent, allowing us to visit even more regions of the world through the acquisition of this sister ship,” said Larry Pimentel, President and CEO of Azamara Club Cruises®. “Our loyal guests and travel partners have asked for this expansion for a long time; we are very pleased to deliver this to them.”
