Ultra-luxury line Crystal Cruises is set to make cruising history in 2018, when it will offer the first-ever dual ship world voyage.
Two ships?
Crystal’s exclusive fleet consists of just two opulent ships – Crystal Symphony and Crystal Serenity – and in 2018, the line will offer lucky passengers in search of the cruise of a lifetime the chance to customise their own world cruise, as they start it on one ship and end it on the other. How will this happen? Well, the line is offering choice of four different world cruise itineraries throughout 2018, meaning passengers can play their part in helping the line create history as they create their ultimate itinerary.
So what’s available?
Passengers of course don’t have to switch ships and can enjoy the surroundings of a single vessel on an exciting selection of sailings. Crystal Symphony will embark on 7th January on an 114-night epic voyage across four continents, traveling from Cape Town to Miami. Shortly after on January 23, her sister ship Crystal Serenity will set sail from Los Angeles on a 112-day journey to Rome which will explore North America, Australia, Asia and Africa. To travel on both vessels and cruises and create history too, you’ll join in the festivities at Sydney’s World Cruise Gala, which will be held on 17th February, 2018, and is where the landmark exchange will take place. These extended voyages will form Crystal’s third and fourth world cruise and passengers can start their voyage on either ship, mix and match sailings or choose a single itinerary if they wish.
