Hapag-Lloyd releases route previews for Hanseatic Inspiration

Hapag-Lloyd’s new expedition cruise ship, Hanseatic Inspiration, might not be embarking on its maiden voyage until 2019, but the luxury cruise line has already released some exciting route previews.

Thrilling voyages of discovery

From short cruises in nearby destinations to longer voyages taking in remote expedition regions, this stunning ship offers an itinerary for everyone.

Hanseatic Inspiration will set sail for the Amazon, the Chilean fjords, the Azores and Cape Verde on fascinating luxury cruises you will never forget. Then there are the ships unique expedition voyages: the Arctic in the European summer and Antarctica in the European winter. Sailing to some of the most breath-taking ports on the planet over as many as 20 spectacular days, Hanseatic Inspiration’s Polar Class 6 (PC6) certificate treats guests to one of the most immersive Polar experiences at sea.

Most exciting of all, however, is Hapag Lloyd’s return to the Great Lakes of North America, made possible by Hanseatic Inspiration’s unique retractable bridge wing. Passing through the narrow locks will be a thrilling breeze.

A special on-board experience

This stunning ship will go above and beyond to offer guests a one-of-a-kind expedition cruising experience.

Just 120 cabins and suites will accommodate a modest 230 guests (or 199 guests on Antarctic cruises) on intimate voyages that will immerse you in each destination on your itinerary. The exclusively outside cabins will feature either a balcony or French balcony, while Hanseatic Inspiration’s expansive Grand Suites offer 764 square feet of space.

But it isn’t just the six different types of suite and cabin that make this ship so special. Hanseatic Inspiration’s stunning features include retractable glass balconies that give guests the feeling of hovering directly above the water, while guests can now stand on the circuit on the bow of the ship to be closer to both the action and the captain. Hanseatic Inspiration will also feature an undulating blue finish on the hull.

We can’t wait to see how the build of this stunning expedition cruise ship progresses, and if you, too, are eager for a closer look inside, keep your eye on our blog for further updates.
