Highlights of Hawaii

Hawaii is one of the most delightful destinations in the whole world. It offers a fascinating mix of incredible natural scenery, breath-taking beaches that are ideal for water sports or simply relaxing, and friendly towns and villages where you can experience the mix of traditional cultures and contemporary life on the islands.

There’s so much to do on Hawaii that it needs a full cruise itinerary just to scrape the surface. You’ll find amazing beaches where you can enjoy pure tranquillity as you sunbathe or, if you prefer something more active, you can try one of the great sports that are available including riding jet skis or snorkelling to see the tropical fish species that inhabit the waters.

Of course Hawaii has some interesting history including that of modern times. You can see Pearl Harbor, where the US Navy was bombed by Japanese planes during the Second World War, which sparked the US joining the fight. Not only is there the chance to see the actual harbour but you can also head to various monuments and museums documenting the area.

Hawaii is probably most famous for the amazing scenery and inland it is truly breath-taking. From active and dormant volcanoes to luscious rainforests teeming with native wildlife, there’s plenty to see whether you’re hiking or taking a driven tour. Some of the sights are unique to the island, such as steaming and smoking craters, while others are simply some of the better examples you could find anywhere like the breath-taking waterfalls that tumble down amongst amazing greenery.

And then there are the towns and villages. Amongst the modern parts of Hawaii much of the traditional way of life still exists and there are few experiences more enjoyable than taking in an authentic luau with great food and live hula dancing.

There’s so much to enjoy on Hawaii that it makes for a luxurious escape, and it is worthy of any of the six star ships.
