We are cruising in the Eastern Mediterranean this summer; can we arrange independent excursions at each port?
Certainly, you can choose to arrange your own excursion in any port you visit, an option which is suitable if you are more adventurous cruisers and confident about finding your way around. Exploring on your own can often work out cheaper too, but you won’t have the added peace of mind that booking with your cruise line offers. When booking with the line, you won’t have to worry about finding your way around and will be paying for the services of a knowledgeable guide who knows the area. Your tour operator will also be responsible to the line for getting you back to your cruise ship on time, and if you’re booked on a tour through the line, the ship cannot leave without you if you are delayed for any reason.
