Oceania Cruises’ Oceania Regatta has finally emerged from dry dock after undergoing a $50 million refurbishment – the last of her class to do so. The ship has embarked on her visit cruise since the renovation – a ten day voyage from Vancouver to Seattle across North America. This blog will take a look at what travellers can expect from the new and improved Oceania Regatta as well as her latest and most exciting features.
In a recent blog, Oceania Cruises’ President Kunal S. Kamlani wrote of his time aboard the newly refurbished vessel, summing up the experience well by saying, “From the moment you step on-board, you are struck by Regatta’s amazing transformation. She possesses a renewed sense of style and grace, but maintains that elegance and warmth our guests love. Regatta’s return to service marks the culmination of the most massive refurbishment in Oceania’s history – a $50 million makeover of our original trio of ships from bow to stern.”
Kamlani is obviously passionate and excited about the success of the renovation and it is easy to see why. Let’s take a look at some of the many improvements that have been made to the Regatta since Oceania began its upheaval of the vessel.
The new Regatta now features a number of fantastic and fresh dining venues – bringing it in line
The Oceania Regatta’s suites and staterooms have also benefited during the ship’s refit, especially the Vista Suites, which have been upgraded with marvellous new furnishings and rich upholstery to help guest settle in and feel at home as they come aboard. Also, in addition to her already impressive range of on-board facilities, the Regatta now boasts a fabulous nine-hole putting green on her Sports Deck, a feature sure to be a hit with guests.
Find out how you can experience, what Oceania Cruises endearingly call, the Olife aboard the Regatta by speaking to our Cruise Concierge team, who will be happy to help you book your place aboard this wonderful and newly refurbished ship.
