Regent’s 2021 World Cruise visits 56 UNESCO sites

Luxury cruise line, Regent Seven Seas Cruises, will visit 56 UNESCO World Heritage Sites during its 2021 World Cruise aboard Seven Seas Mariner.

The sailing departs from Miami on 5 January 2021, embarking on a 117-night sailing where it will end in Barcelona.

During the cruise, guests will visit six continents, 30 countries and 61 ports in South America, French Polynesia, Australia, Asia and the Mediterranean.

The cruise also features 11 overnight stays, allowing guests to feel truly immersed in their ports of call. These are featured in Lima, Peru; Hanga Roa, Easter Island; Auckland, New Zealand; Brisbane, Australia; Bali, Indonesia; Singapore; Mumbai, India; Dubai, UAE; Luxor (Safaga), Egypt; Jerusalem (Haifa), Israel; and Istanbul, Turkey.

Mystical Moai Experience

With the Mystical Moai Experience in Hanga Roa, Easter Island where guests can explore the monumental moai statues. More than 800 of these statues stand on the island, a testament to a long-lost, complex society. During the event, participate in a recreation of celebration called Tapati, with folk music performances, body painting and an authentic lunch.

Arresting Australia

In Australia, there is the Arresting Australia where guests can enjoy a welcoming cocktail reception and tour of Boggo Roa Gaol – often referred to as the Alcatraz of Queensland. Enjoy an intimate and insightful tour of the facilities which were once a penal colony and home to one of the most notorious prisons in the world. After the tour, the prison yard is transformed into a dinner venue where guests can dine and mingle surrounded by the towering red brick walls.

Royalty of Wadi Rum

Set against the backdrop of a castle replica of Wadi Rum, enjoy a rustic meal under the stars accompanied by traditional music. Guests are welcomed by a traditional Dabke dance, followed by entertainment such as belly dancing, a performance from a Bedouin folk band and artists adorning your hands with Henna tattoos. Feast on complimentary champagne and canapes as well as a selection of authentic dishes and classic Arabian sweets.
