Seabourn joined at the table by Chef Thomas Keller

Gourmet cuisine is of course a big part of any luxury cruising experience and with that in mind, award-winning line Seabourn has just announced its partnership with an award-winning chef, the celebrated American restauranteur Thomas Keller.

Certainly a chef with plenty of talent to bring to the Seabourn table, Keller is the creative force behind no fewer than three Michelin-starred restaurants, The French Laundry, Per Se and Bouchon and as you may well have guessed from the aforementioned establishments’ names, specialises in French cuisine with an American twist.

He’ll be bringing his culinary vision to multiple dining venues across the Seabourn fleet, including Seabourn Odyssey, Seabourn Sojourn and Seabourn Quest, beginning this autumn, where guests will be able to enjoy a range of courses and specialities. Chef Keller will also be advising Seabourn on wider aspects of all things culinary, sharing his expertise with the line when it comes to cuisine at sea.

The talented restauranteur will also be working with Seabourn to create an all-new signature dining venue, set to debut in spring next year on-board Seabourn Quest, then feature on each of the line’s other vessels, including the forthcoming Seabourn Encore and Seabourn Ovation, due to launch in 2017 and 2018 respectively.

Chef Keller is the only American chef to be awarded three Michelin stars simultaneously for two different restaurants and was named Best Chef in America by the respected James Beard Foundation in 1997. The French Laundry is his most celebrated restaurant and regularly features in Restaurant Magazine’s Top 50 Restaurants of the World awards.

If you want to sample Chef Keller’s culinary talents for yourself, you’ll be pleased to know we have an excellent selection of Seabourn cruises available, so call our Cruise Concierge team now to book your place or find out more.
