One of the world’s best-loved and most highly-awarded actresses and singers, Elaine Page, has been announced to serve as Seabourn’s newest ultra-luxury cruise ship, Seabourn Ovation.
The naming ceremony will take place on 11 May, set in the beautiful harbour of Valletta, Malta.

A much-loved and highly-awarded actress and singer, Elaine Page has an impressive collection of accolades and is often referred to as ‘The First Lady of British Musical Theatre’. From defining musicals (setting a gold standard with her roles in Evita, Cats, Sweeney Todd and The King & I), to many more West End and Broadway shows, her legacy has seen her awarded an OBE for her services to Musical Theatre.
Elaine is an iconic choice of godmother and the perfect fit for Seabourn Ovation, with Richard Meadows, President of Seabourn, saying:

Ovation will be christened during a spectacular ceremony in May this year, where the event will light up the UNESCO World Heritage site of Valletta, Malta. This signifies the cruise line’s multi-year partnership with UNESCO and its pledge to help protect World Heritage sites around the world.

Seabourn’s newest addition to the fleet welcomes stunning interior design by Adam D. Tihany and the culinary expertise of Michelin-starred chef Thomas Keller. Ovation will expand the cruise line’s award-winning Odyssey-class ships, which were introduced between 2009 and 2011, revolutionising ultra-luxury cruising with enhanced accommodations and innovative amenities.
Seabourn Ovation will boast superb suite-design with more than 300 suites, each rich in thoughtful details and sophisticated colour palettes. Seabourn has even partnered with Molton Brown to introduce Seabourn Signature Scents that add a little more luxury to your room.
