After declaring its intention to add a ninth ship to what is already one of the world’s largest luxury fleets, Silversea has announced that tickets for the maiden voyage from Monte Carlo to Nice of its new flag ship Silver Muse are now on sale.
Offering just 286 boutique suites to 596 privileged guests, Silver Muse will set sail on April 20 2017 and will also call at such ports as Barcelona, Valletta and Sorento. However, for anyone who wants to feel even more exclusive, there’s a pre-maiden voyage Easter sailing planned, which will also depart Monte Carlo on a round-trip which will call at Livorno, Portofino and Porto Mahon. The rest of the year will see the ship explore other ports in Europe as well as Canada, the Americas and the Caribbean.

Weighing in at 40,700 tons and at just 86 feet long, Silver Muse is sure to be one of the sleekest vessels on the ocean, with a crew of 408 offering an impressive staff-to-guest ratio on-board. All suites offer Verandas and commanding ocean views, with Royal Suites, Grand Suites and the ultimate in opulence, the palatial Owner’s Suite, all offering plenty of extra luxury.
Despite her small size, Silver Muse will offer a wealth of dining choices and a number of them reflect the line’s proud Italian heritage, including La Terrazza – the first slow food restaurant at sea and Regina Margherita, which as you may have guessed, offers some of the most authentic pizza at sea. Reflecting the line’s appetites for different tastes and cultures, Kabuki offers authentic Japanese cuisine, while La Grande Dame presents contemporary yet uber-sophisticated French cuisine.
