Hot on the heels of the announcement of a brand new ship for 2020, and the stunning refit of Silver Explorer, Silversea has revealed details of planned refurbishments to three more of its existing luxury cruise ships.
Silver Wind, Silver Whisper and Silver Spirit will all be upgraded with extensive refits that aim to make the cruising experience yet more indulgent.
What can you expect on-board Silver Wind and Silver Whisper?
Due for completion in December, the Silver Wind and Silver Whisper project will equip the ships with technical improvements primarily designed to make the passenger experience even more special. Public areas will be redesigned, with the La Terrazza restaurant and the Observation and Panorama lounges getting updated décor that fits with Silver Muse’s pioneering indulgence.
Silversea’s Chief Executive, Roberto Martinoli, said: “Silver Muse has been a sophisticated inspirational milestone for our brand.
“We are confident that the comprehensive makeover we have planned for Silver Wind and Silver Whisper will enhance the on-board experience and be equally appreciated by our guests.”
How is Silver Spirit changing?
In March 2018, Silver Spirit will also undergo an extensive refit bringing together breath-taking décor, superior service, gastronomic cuisine and world-class wine on small ship cruises to both secluded and iconic ports.
As with Silver Wind and Silver Whisper, Silver Spirit will feature revamped public areas incorporating enhanced layouts, updated bars and upgraded lounges. Plus, a brand new Zagara spa will provide the perfect place to unwind.
In terms of dining, new restaurant concepts will treat guests to unique culinary experiences with new menus and a wider variety of dining options, while every suite will be redesigned in a similar style to spectacular Silver Muse; including upgrades to technology and in-suite entertainment.
Silver Spirit will also feature a larger pool deck where guests can soak up the sun in perfect serenity. The ship will also be fitted with a new outdoor aerobics area – the perfect place to greet the morning – and plenty more outdoor seating where passengers can enjoy the view.
