Introducing Seabourn Encore

seabourn

If you’re a regular reader of these blogs, you’ll remember when we announced the names of the next two ships in Seabourn’s luxurious fleet – Encore and Ovation – earlier in the year. Hot on the heels of the news that Seabourn Encore is now on sale, I thought it would be a good idea to take a look at what’s in store for cruisers.

Seabourn Encore’s inaugural cruises are now on sale and will consist of 10 very special sailings. Those with a taste for the exotic can explore Arabia and India, with a choice of four different cruises. The Holy Land and Arabian Gems itinerary departs Athens bound for Dubai, calling at such ports as Ashdod for Jerusalem and Aquaba for Petra, while the Jewels of Arabia and India sailing begins in Dubai, making its way to Singapore via such ports as Muscat and Mangalore. Asia is also yours to explore on Encore, with the Gems of the Java Sea itinerary taking in such enriching eastern gems as Bali and Komodo. For those who want to explore even further afield, Seabourn Encore will embark on a number of enriching sailings around Australasia, including a Great Barrier Reef and Gold Coast exploration and a New Zealand and Australia voyage which calls at such ports as Tauranga, Oban and Melbourne.

As for Encore herself, she will be modelled on the line’s state-of-the-art Odyssey-class vessels, featuring 12 decks and catering to just 604 guests. The ship’s stylish public spaces are the brainchild of master designer Adam D. Tihany, who is responsible for the look of some of the world’s most stylish hotels. Though Encore will follow the general layout of the Odyssey-class ships, she’ll benefit from Tihany’s expert touch, boasting soft curves and a yacht-like ambience and intriguingly some surprises which are designed to be gradually discovered by guests in their own time. One thing we can be sure of though is the return of such Odyssey Class favourites as the Seabourn Square, the Casino and the Colonnade and of course, some seriously sumptuous all-suite accommodations.

If you want to book your place on any of the inaugural sailings just call our dedicated Cruise Concierge today on 0808 202 6105 or to experience the Seabourn difference for yourself, take a look at the excellent choice of sailings we have on the other vessels in the line’s fantastic fleet.
