Yes, it’s a relatively easy walk to reach Alicante town centre or the excellent beaches from the port. The port is less than a mile from all the major attractions, so at average walking pace you’ll either be unwinding on the sands or seeing the sights of the town within 10-15 minutes from the moment you walk off the ship.
