If you keep up with our blogs, you’ll know how excited we were at the news of Crystal Cruises’ massive expansion plans, not just in the world of ocean cruising but also yacht cruising, river cruising and even air travel.
One thing that luxury cruising and indeed Crystal Cruises is renowned for is the incredible cuisine on offer, so with that in mind, here’s a tantalizing taster of what’s on the menu for the line’s all-new luxury yacht, Crystal Esprit, launching in December 2015.
The stylish yacht will debut a whole new culinary concept, with Michelin-starred dishes created by local ingredients sourced from the Mediterranean and the Seychelles – regions which the yacht will sail extensively – and also dishes served on Crystal’s celebrated ocean vessels, Crystal Serenity and Crystal Symphony.
Seafood is naturally a prominent feature, and the ship’s laid-back alfresco terrace will be the perfect place to enjoy it. Either the Yacht Club and the Patio Café will be the perfect venue if you like to eat things your way, with made to order omelettes and pasta dishes another mouth-watering option, while there’s even the option of a casual burger or three in the Sunset Bar and Grill.
This is however, luxury cruising after all and lavish, multi-course dinners are sure to be a star attraction in the yacht’s main dining room, with both Classic Menus and Modern Tasting Menus on offer. Ensuring that every possible culinary base is covered, Crystal Esprit will also cater for those who want to enjoy a little more of their luxury suite, with 24-hour stateroom dining also available.
