How much luggage am I able to take on to my cruise?
If you have booked a fly cruise, whereby you’ll be taking a flight to your port of embarkation, the amount of baggage you can take on your cruise will be restricted by the policy put in place by whichever airline you are travelling with, which will be upheld by the cruise line. However, if you are cruising domestically, without the need to fly to your port of embarkation, the baggage limitations for each luxury line are as follows:
Azamara Club Cruises – No baggage restriction
Seabourn – No baggage restriction
Silversea – The line states in its general information on packing that ‘a reasonable amount of luggage may be brought aboard the ship’.
Oceania Cruises – No baggage items heavier than 70lbs (31 kg) allowed on-board.
Windstar Cruises – The line does not specify a baggage restriction
Regent Seven Seas – No baggage limitation
Crystal Cruises – 75lbs (34kg) for international services and 150lbs (68kg) for domestic services
Compagnie du Ponant – The line states in its general information on packing that ‘a reasonable amount of luggage may be brought aboard the ship’.
Paul Gaugin Cruises – The line states that ‘each passenger may bring aboard the ship a reasonable amount of clothing and personal effects without charge’.
Seadream – 200lbs per person (90kg)
