Silversea Cruises has announced two famous musicians to join cruises later this year as part of a special treat for guests. Paul Brown and Marc Antoine are both renowned jazz guitarists who will be appearing separately on two different cruises in November and December, as part of distinct ‘Music under the Stars’ voyages.
Both cruises will take place on the Silver Spirit, one of the smallest cruise ships on the ocean catering for just 540 passengers. On each cruise guests can enjoy two performances in the on-board Show Lounge, while the artists will also perform at a sail-away cocktail party out on the pool deck. This unique experience will include the opportunity to meet the musicians during the party.
Mike Bonner, the General Manager UK and Ireland for Silversea Cruises, said “We’re excited and honoured to have these two renowned artists performing aboard our beautiful Silver Spirit. I know our guests will enjoy an extraordinary music experience.”
Antoine is also looking forward to his cruise, stating “It will be great to perform in the Mediterranean and visit my beloved Spain and France with music lovers from around the world.” These sentiments were echoed by Brown, who said “I’m looking forward to spending a week with my fans, playing the music I love in a great intimate setting, and making new friends.”
Antoine’s cruise departs on 2nd November and lasts seven days, sailing from Rome to Livorno, Monte Carlo (the port where the sail away party will take place), Marseille, Porto Mahon and Palma de Mallorca en route to Barcelona. Brown’s cruise takes place in the Caribbean over 10 days and departs on 13th December. It is a round trip from Fort Lauderdale, visiting numerous islands including San Juan, St Maarten, Grand Turk and St Barts, destination for the deck party.
