Three brand-new ships are on their way for Silversea, arriving in either 2020 or 2021. Each of the ships will bring unique offerings, but match the ultra-luxury standard that Silversea is renowned for.
Silver Origin, Silver Moon and Silver Dawn are the three new additions, with them joining in either August 2020 or September 2021.
The first of the three ships joining the fleet is Silver Origin. Purpose-built for the Galapagos Islands, the ship is the most elegant to ever set sail in the region. With dynamic positioning, plastic-free policies and a team of Ecuadorian national expert guides, she is sure to be the perfect ship to visit the Galapagos region.
Her maiden voyage is 8th August 2020, where she will set sail from Baltra to San Cristobal for seven nights. This itinerary will then be reversed for the return journey. Ports include Isla Daphne Grande, Bahia Darwin, El Barranco, Seymour Norte, Santiago, Rabida and more!
Next in line is the rise of Silver Moon, which was floated out in September of this year. The ship is set to push the boundaries of ultra-luxury cruise travel with a number of new concepts. One of these is the remarkable S.A.L.T. (Sea And Land Taste) program which focuses on innovative new ways to explore culinary experiences. Adapted for different destinations, S.A.L.T. will elevate the role of food as a means of travel and immersion, showcasing multiple destinations around the world through dishes.
Silver Moon will boast much of the same design as her sister-ship, Silver Muse, while offering her own take on public spaces, spa and fitness centre, as well as a number of dining venues. She will set sail on her maiden voyage on 6th August 2020, spending her inaugural season in the Mediterranean before heading across the Atlantic in November.
The third ship joining the fleet is Silver Dawn. As the tenth ship in the cruise line’s ultra-luxury fleet, Silver Dawn will draw influences from the most successful features of her sister-ships – Silver Muse and Silver Moon – as well as interpret her own unique enhancements. Silver Dawn will also feature the innovative S.A.L.T. program as seen on Silver Moon, alongside spacious accommodations and the best service at sea.
Silver Dawn’s inaugural season begins in 2021 when she sets sail on her maiden voyage for 22nd September from Rome to Venice. She will then spend the season in the Mediterranean before heading to Fort Lauderdale as part of the cruise line’s new collection of winter 2021 voyages.
