In anticipation of Seven Seas Splendor’s inaugural sailing in February 2020, Regent Seven Seas Cruises (RSSC) have revealed further details about this exciting new ship.
Earlier this year, the cruise line announced that the Regent Suite on-board will be the largest and most elegant suite ever built on a luxury ship. Now RSSC has added a further 14 other suite categories on the ship, each of which follows the same indulgent pathway as the Regent Suite.

Distinctive Suites
The Distinctive Suites comprise the Master, Grand, Splendor and Seven Seas suite categories – of which there are five categories between.
Guests staying in these suites enjoy personalised butler service, guaranteed dining reservations, customised pillows and bath products, as well as much more.
They are designed to encompass a level of luxury which is incomparable, blending comfort with indulgence and focusing on details such as high-contrast materials and lush jewel-toned accents. They all have balconies, living areas and either one or two bedrooms with plenty of space.
Spacious Suites
Next, are the Spacious Suites, which include the Penthouse, Concierge, Superior and Veranda suites. Each of these is designed to maximise the ocean views and ensure that you have room to relax on your private balcony.
Amenities in these suites include Elite Slumber beds, spacious closets, plush bathrobes and slippers, a mini-bar stocked daily and much more.
There are small touches found between these rooms which are truly special, such as lined jewellery drawers in the Penthouse Suite; beds facing the balcony window in the Concierge Suites; and walk-in closets in the Superior Suites.
Public spaces on-board Seven Seas Splendor
As well as revealing the details of the suites on-board, RSSC has also included information on the design of the Observation Lounge. This is designed as an enchanting English garden, incorporating a light and airy colour palette, alongside a unique chandelier made-up of hand-painted porcelain flowers.
Special art commissioned by Gorman Studios also features English roses and flowers to reflect the chandelier’s design, and the furniture mirrors this further with soft forms and curvature similar to that of flower petals.
There is more than 46,000 square-feet of Italian marble aboard Seven Seas Splendor, nearly 52,000 square-feet of balcony space and approximately 500 crystal chandeliers which light the ship’s interior. RSSC’s President and CEO, Jason Montague said:
“Perfecting luxury is about obsessing over large and small details. From specially commissioned one-of-a-kind artwork to visually stimulating touches throughout the ship, each space on Seven Seas Splendor will display finely tailored designs that offer a comfortable and stylish experience for luxury travellers. With an expansive passenger-to-space ratio and an exceptionally low guest-to-crew ratio, Seven Seas Splendor will be one of the world’s most spacious, intimate and beautiful ships ever to sail the globe.”
Seven Seas Splendor will certainly be a ship to turn heads and we can’t wait for her launch early next year! If you’re keen to know more, click the link below to find out about this extraordinary ship.
