To me, cricket can stake a claim at being the ultimate sport. It’s my own personal view that sport isn’t just about who is the most perfect physical specimen, having trained their body to the peak of athletic condition. No, in my eyes it’s about more than that – it’s about training yourself to react to situations and carry out complicated actions as supremely as possible and it has to be tactical.
I could go on about why I love cricket, but that’s not the purpose of this post. Instead this is to let you know about this supreme package that is now available with Six Star Cruises. This blog isn’t intended to be a promotional tool, but sometimes something incredible comes up and we just have to tell you about it.
Right now we’re in the middle of an exciting Ashes series being played in England. For the first time ever we’re going to have back-to-back Ashes series, with the tests in Australia taking place around three months after the end of the tests in England. This is to change the scheduling for the long term, so that the series aren’t quite so close to the ICC World Cup.
It’s already an extremely exciting time, and a lot of people are looking at ways of getting their hands on tickets for both this series and the one in Australia. So what if there was an amazing package which included not just a luxury holiday, but the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to head out to Australia, and in particular Sydney, and see the dramatic final test of the series?
That’s what is now available.
You’ll fly out to Sydney on the 28th December, touching down in Australia on the 30th with the time difference. You’ll be whisked away to an incredible five-star hotel which will be your home for the next eight nights, with the test match beginning on the 3rd January. This means you’ll not only have plenty of time to explore and see the major sights but you’ll be spending New Year in the city too – ideal for a stunning party with fireworks over the harbour.
After watching the thrilling climax to the series, you’ll board your Regent Seven Seas cruise ship the Seven Seas Voyager for a 10-night sailing to New Zealand. You’ll explore fascinating ports including beautiful harbours and cities packed with history, all while enjoying the top quality all-inclusive service of the cruise line. There are plenty of complimentary excursions to choose from too including nature cruises, wine tasting and more, so it all adds up to an incredible package.
If you’re a fan of cricket and want somewhere to escape to for a truly stunning holiday, could you really think of anything better?
