Free Wi-Fi introduced across the board with Regent

Regent Cruises WiFi access

Regent Seven Seas Cruises has gone one step closer to being fully all-inclusive, strengthening the line’s position as the cruise line which gives you the most for your fare, by adding free Wi-Fi beginning with the Winter sailings for 2014/2015.

If you book a cruise for this time in a Concierge-level suite or higher, you’ll be able to enjoy up to 500 minutes of wireless internet access throughout your cruise, adding to the already-impressive package that allows guests to benefit from flights, a pre-cruise hotel stay, unlimited shore excursions and more, as well as premium spirits and wines, gratuities and more.

Not only that but all of the internet facilities are being upgraded this year across the fleet, in a major upgrade that will ensure faster speeds, a more stable connection and the ability to connect to the internet anywhere on the ship, including outdoor decks, public areas and all suites.

With these changes there are also some amendments to the loyalty programme on-board, the Seven Seas Society. Currently, all members of the society at Silver level or above get free unlimited internet access, and for now that doesn’t change, however after September 30th 2014 anyone that becomes a new Silver-level member won’t enjoy the same privilege, and will need to wait until they are Gold.

So what this means is, if you’re currently a Bronze-level Society member it’s the perfect time to get yourself up to that Silver status before the change comes into effect next year, to ensure you get these benefits for years to come.

500 minutes of Wi-Fi internet access, combined with faster speeds, should be plenty for you to enjoy catching up with friends and families and, if you really must, checking emails, but remember it’s a holiday. I think it’s another great step from Regent Seven Seas Cruises, giving you this extra benefit, but more importantly what do you think?
