Old Montreal

A collection of intriguing museums are also situated throughout the old town, including the Montreal Science Museum, Centre d'historie de Montreal, the Bank of Montreal Museum, the Chateau Ramezay Museum and Pointe-a-Calliere. Montreal Biodome

The Montreal Biodome is a vast facility that allows visitors to walk through reproductions of four ecosystems found across the Americas. The exhibit include the Tropical Forest inspired by the South American rainforests, the Laurentian Forest designed to imitate the North American wilderness, the Saint Lawrence Marine Ecosystem based upon the Gulf of Saint Lawrence and a Polar Area split up into Arctic and Antarctic sections. The attraction is managed by the Montreal Nature Museum, who also operate other attractions in the city such as the Insectarium, the Planetarium and the Botanical Gardens.  

Mount Royal Park

Mount Royal Park is one of Montreal's largest open green spaces and home to Mount Royal, Montreal's famous hill. The park boasts a beautiful natural landscape incorporating rolling green hills, lush forests and the man-made Beaver Lake. Other fun-filled artificial attractions situated within the park include a ski slope, cross-country skiing trails and a splendid sculpture garden.

Le Plateau is a great place to start a shopping trip in Montreal. Hundreds of shops and large department stores are situated in this part of town, offering visitors the chance to pick up the perfect souvenirs and gifts as well as a wide range of general amenities.
