Seabourn Odyssey

Seabourn Odyssey is Rated 5 Star Rating 4.67 out of 5 with highest 5 stars based on 3 reviews.

Seabourn Odyssey was the first of a brand-new class of ships for the luxury line, setting sail on her maiden voyage in 2009 and was more than three times the size of her then sister ships Seabourn Spirit and Seabourn Legend. Though bigger, she still caters to just 450 guests and offers the largest space-to-guest ratio in the cruise industry.

As well as a premium of space, Seabourn Odyssey offers a wealth of first rate features and amenities, including stylish staterooms, 90 per cent of which have private verandas. World-class cuisine, spectacular entertainment and the opulent Spa at Seabourn are just some of the features which make this opulent vessel such a joy to experience.

Seabourn Odyssey Experience

Staterooms

Each cabin on-board the Seabourn Odyssey is a full suite, which means passengers, regardless of where they are staying, are treated to a combo of sleeping and sitting areas. Each stateroom comes with a living area which is wonderfully furnished with plush seats, couches and tables, and come complete with outstanding quality flat-screen televisions. The bathrooms are also excellent, featuring a generous amount of space, double sinks framed in granite, and separate baths and showers. These beautifully tiled bathrooms come with luxury beauty and bath products from L’Occitane and Molton Brown, giving your stay that added bit of stylish comfort.

Dining

Whether it is a multi-course evening meal or a casual bite to eat poolside, Seabourn Odyssey will live up to your expectations. The ship’s main dining venue, The Restaurant, has a warm, friendly atmosphere that complements the high quality of the food served there. The open-seating policy allows for conversations with your fellow passengers, and the service is utterly exceptional. With foie gras appetisers, and fresh gourmet seafood dishes for your main course, you can be sure to enjoy your dining experience. Further afield, passengers can also enjoy the tapas styling of the cuisine in Restaurant 2, as well as buffets featuring fruits, anti-pasto and salad at The Colonnade.

Leisure

The lounges Seabourn Odyssey are great places in which to enjoy some downtime. Like the rest of the ship, they have a sparkling décor which is both contemporary in design and classical in its colour palette. From the Observation Bar on Deck 10 to The Club Terrace on Deck 5, cruisers have a wealth of places to relax with a lavish cocktail. A terrific place to enjoy between excursions is the Seabourn Square on Deck 7, which replaces the lobby, and in fine style too. Instead of a traditional reception area, the Seabourn square offers a brilliant place to meet for coffee and pastries, and indulge in a library or computer session.

Entertainment

Most evenings on-board Seabourn Odyssey are filled with delightful entertainment. In the Observation Bar, passengers can enjoy a brilliant collection of popular and classical pieces performed to perfection by a pianist, adding to the exquisite ambience before and after dinner. The Club also offers a fine selection of musical entertainment, featuring stunning singers and full bands. In the Grand Salon, cruisers are invited to take in the splendour of a Broadway Revue, or even variety acts such magicians, stand-up comedians, and classical music soloists. There’s something for everyone, and with a packed schedule, you’ll never have to experience a lull between the next stunning set of attractions.

Relaxation

Seabourn Odyssey is a wonderful ship on which to relax, with a wealth of options for cruisers looking to unwind in superb comfort and style. The main pool areas are a great place to enjoy a glittering afternoon, with luxury cushioned sun loungers spread across the teak decks of this glorious ship. There is even a separate area fitted with a private villa, available for hire by any passenger. This gorgeous tranquil hideaway contains an oversized whirlpool tub, a double-day bed and a wraparound terrace for private sunbathing par excellence. For a serene experience, make sure to head to the on-board spa for an amazing range of massage, manicure and facial treatments tailor-made to help you feel refreshed.

Family

Seabourn Odyssey has plenty to offer in terms of leisure and entertainment, but no facilities aimed directly at younger guests, so travellers are not encouraged to bring children on-board.
