Bonaventure Island

Bonaventure Island is located in the Gulf of St. Lawrence off the southern coast of the Gaspe Peninsula. The Chic Chocs Mountains

The curiously named Chic Choc Mountains are located in the remote central region of the Gaspe Peninsula. The mountains are popular amongst skiers and snowboarders during the winter months and also offer spectacular views of the area’s dramatic natural landscape. The range contains over 25 mountains with peaks exceeding 1000 metres in height.
