This 17-night Alaskan and Canadian adventure is perfect from beginning to end, with flights, hotels and a chance to ride aboard the iconic Rocky Mountaineer, as well as enjoy a luxury cruise
Begin your trip with a flight to Calgary where your Rocky Mountaineer experience begins. Commence with two-nights in Calgary followed by a tour of Banff National Park on the way to Banff where you have the opportunity to ride the Banff Gondola where at the top you will discover sweeping scenes of six mountain ranges, the Bow Valley and the charming town of Banff from the Sulphur Mountain summit. The next day you will enjoy Yoho National Park on the way to the famous Fairmont Chateau on Lake Louse where you will spend the night.
The next day you will board Rocky Mountaineer and travel in GoldLeaf service travelling to Kamloops where you will stay for the night before the next morning taking your second leg through to Vancouver. Each day your journey will take you through remarkable beauty and endless views of snow-capped mountains, stunning glaciers to colourful cliffs and lush farming all views through the domed panoramic roof on the train.
In Vancouver, you will enjoy a two-night stay at the Fairmont Hotel and sightseeing tours of Vancouver and the spectacular North Shore. You will then board Oceania's Regatta to commence your Alaskan adventure. Your nine-night cruise takes you to the ports of Ketchikan, Juneau, Icy Strait Point Sitka, and Victoria before reaching Seattle where you will fly home overnight to the UK.

A half-day tour takes you into Yoho National Park to view some of its natural wonders. Among the attractions are the Spiral Tunnels, Emerald Lake and a natural rock bridge spanning the Kicking Horse River. The tour ends in Lake Louise where the remainder of the afternoon is at your leisure to enjoy this magnificent location. Overnight in Lake Louise at the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise.

Board the Rocky Mountaineer train at the Lake Louise Station at 9:00am MT to travel from the Lake Louise to Kamloops, located in the heart of British Columbia's interior. Your journey takes you through a spectacular array of scenery as you travel between the glacier and snow-capped peaks of the Canadian Rockies over mountain passes and through remarkable tunnels, along rocky lakeshores and across the ranchlands of the interior. today's highlights include the Continental Divide, the Spiral Tunnels, the Kicking Horse Canyon, Rogers Pass and Craigellachie where the last spike of the Canadian Pacific Railway was driven. You will arrive in Kamloops between 6:30pm and 8:00pm PT. Spend the evening exploring the city, or relaxing in your hotel. All hotels in Kamloops are of moderate standard: your hotel will be assigned post-booking.

Board the Rocky Mountaineer train at the Kamloops Station at 7:35am PT. On today's journey west, you will again see dramatic changes in scenery, from the desert-like environment of the Interior, through winding river canyons and pristine forests, to the Coast and Cascade Mountains and the lush green fields of the Fraser Valley. Breakfast and lunch will be served onboard. Highlights include the steep slopes and rock sheds along the Thompson River and the rushing waters of Hell's Gate in the Fraser Canyon.
